Event Type

Join us for another year of excitement, fun, and laughter!

We will have a condensed reading of the Megillat Esther (also known as the Book of Esther) which describes what transpired on Purim and why it is celebrated as an important Jewish holiday at our Reform Purim Service.  Stay after the service for the annual Purim Shpiel (a comic dramatization)

Temple Beth Abraham’s annual Shpiel-A-Long returns. After 29 years of directing, Cantor Margot Goldberg is retiring. Join us as we honor her with “Back to the Future: A Retrospective” featuring some of the greatest hits of the last 29 years of Purim Shpiels at TBA!

Hear both a traditional and a comical retelling of the story of Purim. Bring a box of pasta to the service. Shake, Rattle, and Roll your box in place of a grogger (noisemaker)! The boxes will then be donated to the Community Food Pantry of Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown.
