A heartfelt thank you to the record 3,000+ people who joined us for the 50th Annual Westchester Jewish Music & Arts Festival! It was wonderful to see our community come together for an afternoon filled with incredible music, activities, connection, and celebration. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did!
An event of this size is truly a community effort. We are incredibly grateful to our volunteers, record number of vendors, performers, sponsors, and community partners who helped make this milestone celebration so special. A special thank you to Council COO Pam Goldstein and our Festival Committee for the countless hours of planning and coordination that brought the day to life.
Of course, the festival would not be complete without the music and entertainment! What an incredible festival! We have many people to thank for helping to make this day a beautiful celebration of unity and Jewish joy.
Thank you to our dedicated volunteers, and Musical Producer Kenny Green, Council COO Pam Goldstein and Festival Committee members David Eppinger, Chair, Melissa Baer, Gabe Lomas, and Marti Michael for their outstanding planning. We’re also grateful for the support of County Executive Ken Jenkins and the County Parks Team.

Musician John Ondrasik Receives Courage Award at 48th Westchester Jewish Music and Arts Festival. Stu Seltzer, Executive Board Member of the Council, presented John Ondrasik with the Alfred and Constance Weissman COURAGE award. Here is an excerpt from Stu’s speech:
John Ondrasik is not a silent bystander and the Jewish world is better off because of that.
My name is Stu Seltzer and I’m here as a member of the executive board of the Westchester Jewish Council to present John with the Alfred and Constance Weissman COURAGE award
Alfred and Connie Weissman were never silent bystanders and were always strong supporters of Jewish causes and American causes. Alfred was a decorated US Army veteran who served in World War 2 and remained supportive and involved in the US Army 10th Mountain Division. Alfred and Connie were also strong supporters of many Jewish organizations including AIPAC, Friends of the IDF, UJA Federation and many others. The Westchester community was blessed to have their leadership and we are blessed to have their family members carry on the tradition of “not being silent bystanders” and being strong supporters and leaders of Jewish and Israeli causes.
