Jake Beckman is an independent education consultant with a decade of experience guiding students through the college application process. He brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to his work with students, helping them identify their strengths, develop their applications, and gain admission to their best-fit colleges. Jake is the cofounder of SLB Education Consultants, which is dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive advising services to families across the country.
Rachel E. Klein, MSW, is executive director of the Hillels of Westchester. Prior to her time in the Hillel family, Rachel served as a Reform synagogue director in New Jersey, youth group advisor, and teacher. She began her social work career in 2003 as a direct-practice social worker in mental health and substance abuse. Her journey from clinical social work to Hillel professional brought her to serve as an assistant child advocate with the State of New Jersey for nearly a decade, where she focused on anti-bullying efforts, childhood lead poisoning, legislative oversight, and individual advocacy. She received an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of Delaware.
