Ellis Island: The Golden Door
(VIRTUAL)

Wednesday, July 6, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PMBetween 1892-1954, millions of immigrants entered Ellis Island on their way to their new lives in America. For many years, Ellis Island remained vacant and fell into disrepair. Now, the restored Ellis Island Immigration Museum welcomes visitors, and tells the story of its unique and dramatic role in American history. In this program, former National Parks Service tour guide Tom Bernardin will provide a comprehensive look at the “Plymouth Rock” of America’s ancestors.
