Blacklist: The Hollywood Red Scare
Tuesday, June 28, 2:00 PM – 3:00 PMWhat does it mean to be a patriotic American? “Blacklist,” an exhibition currently on view at the Jewish Museum of Maryland asks just this question. Visitor Experiences Coordinator Noah Mitchel leads us on a virtual tour, sharing personal narratives of those who were blacklisted, members of House Un-American Activities Committee, and Hollywood executives, while drawing parallels with current events that continue to impact First Amendment rights.
