The Council in partnership with The Jewish Education Project, Westchester Association of Temple Educators & the Westchester Board of Rabbis invite you to a free community-wide lecture with Professor Steven Fine about the historical period of the early sages and Rabbi Akiva that is depicted in The Orchard by Yochi Brandes. Professor Fine is a historian of Judaism in the Greco-Roman World and a professor of Jewish History at Yeshiva University in New York.
This event is free and open to all. We encourage you to read the book, but invite you to join us even if you have not read it.
