Join us for a wine and cheese reception with a special viewing of our new art exhibit, Magical Thinking: Superstitions and Other Persistent Notions, followed by a talk back with Joel Silverstein, one of the artists included in the exhibit, and Nancy Mantell, curator for traveling exhibits of the Dr. Bernard Heller Museum.
In Magical Thinking, black cats, horseshoes, wishbones, amulets, mirrors, and golems are featured in over 25 multimedia works of contemporary artists who explore superstitions and rituals that ward off evil and promote good fortune.
This event is free.
