TODAY – Reading Tehillim: Literary and Theological Explorations of the Psalms

A jewishLIVE series hosted by Shai Held, of Hadar, and kicking off this afternoon at @3 pm EDT/12 pm PDT. Access this event by heading to www.jewishlive.org‘s “Main Stage” (accessible by clicking the video screen on the home page of jewishlive.org)
For more than two thousand years, Jews have turned to the book of Tehillim (Psalms) to express their deepest passions, yearnings, and disappointments. The psalms are exquisite works of poetry, powerful evocations of piety and spirituality, testaments to literary genius, and statements of profound– and often unsettling– theology. In this series, we’ll do close literary and theological readings of select psalms. We’ll together discover new texts and see familiar texts with new eyes.
See you at www.jewishlive.org at 3 pm EDT/Noon PDT for some sensational learning!
