Join us as author Max Gross discusses his award winning, imaginative debut novel, The Lost Shtetl. This remarkable debut novel is about a small Jewish village in the Polish forest that is so secluded no one knows it exists . . . until now. The author will read from his novel, discuss the writing process and the story, and will answer questions from the audience. Reading the book is encouraged, but not required. The presentation, the culmination of a newly launched annual common reading program at GHC, is appropriate for adults and teens alike, and all are encouraged to attend.
The book is available for purchase at book stores like Barnes & Nobles, but a limited number of copies are available at GHC. Please contact Lisa Goldman (adulteducationchair@ghcny.org) to arrange for a book. Bring your book to have it signed by the author.
