Research has shown that physical activity is a driver for a healthy and long life for older people. Physical activity encompasses exercise, sports, and physical activity performed as part of daily living and leisure. Exercise that is planned, structured and repetitive will improve physical fitness, the quality of life and one’s overall well-being. The World Health Organization recommends both aerobic exercise and strength exercise, as well as balance training to reduce the risk of falls.
Our program includes balance, Zumba, and chair yoga.
Runs every Thursday beginning January 12th. Come at 10am for coffee and exercise begins at 10:30am.
