Greenburgh Hebrew Center, in Dobbs Ferry, is hosting a Blood Drive on Sunday, February 9, from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm. The need for blood is urgent. This blood drive is open to the community, to people age 17 and up. If you are 16 you will need a parent or guardian’s written consent.
Sign-ups for a time slot are strongly encouraged and preferred. To sign up go to: https://donate.nybc.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/321946.
If you have any questions, please email BloodDrive@ghcny.org
This blood drive benefits the NY Blood Center and Magen David Adom. Magen David Adom (MDA) and Blood Centers of America (BCA) – the largest blood supply network in the USA – have a signed agreement: If, heaven forbid, Israel is unable to collect its own residents’ blood due to continued war, natural disaster or other unforeseen emergency, BCA will ship blood from the USA to Israel. Your blood donation also strengthens the US national blood supply, which has still not recovered to pre-Covid 19 levels.
