Mishkan Ha’am Adult Ed: Exploring Narratives of End of Life Care – Jewish Perspectives and Practical Approaches With guest speaker Jennifer DiBiase, LCSW

When

April 3, 2022
11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Event Type

Our approach to end of life care is shaped by a combination of personal, familial, communal and religious narratives. We will reflect on the intersections of these narratives and how they have played out in our own journeys. Palliative Care social worker Jennifer DiBiase will join us to share her experience navigating this in the hospital setting. We will also learn about the importance and nuances of naming a healthcare proxy, and explore the values that might inform this decision. Solomon will share Jewish texts to offer additional angles on these topics. We will leave ample time for discussion and questions on this important topic.
