Our Afternoon Service will include the annual Rabbi Aaron D. Panken, Ph.D., z”l, Memorial Shiur (teaching), led by the four scholars who hold Rabbi Aaron D. Panken Professorships at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion: Jennifer Grayson, Ph.D.; Rabbi Dalia Marx, Ph.D.; Rabbi Joseph A. Skloot, Ph.D.; and Rabbi Dvora E. Weisberg, Ph.D. We are honored to co-sponsor the gift of their scholarship and spiritual leadership with Hebrew Union College and the many congregations that helped to establish these Professorships, which will help to raise up a new generation of Jewish leaders. In order to adapt to the unique health and safety conditions of COVID-19 this year, WRT will offer our High Holiday Services with significant changes, compared to last year. We will not be gathering in our temple buildings for in-person services this year. All services will take place online, and will be accessed through specific website links.
