SISTERHOOD GHC PRESENTS: WOMEN OF THE WALL
Join the Sisterhood of Greenburgh Hebrew Center for an inspiring, powerful event about “Women of the Wall”, whose mission is to attain social and legal recognition of the right of women to wear Tallitot, pray and read from the Torah at the Western Wall. Guest speaker is Rabbi Linda Henry Goodman, Rabbi Emerita of the Union Temple of Brooklyn, and a champion of women’s rights.
Rabbi Goodman will speak at noon, followed by lunch at 1pm. Event is free for all current Sisterhood and Women’s League members. Otherwise the cost is $18/non-member Adult.
