DESCRIPTION:Our powerful and moving Yom HaShoah service will feature a pres
 entation by Holocaust survivor\, Aron Krell.\n\nBorn in Lodz\, Poland\, th
 e Nazis forcibly resettled him and his family into the Lodz Ghetto. He liv
 ed in the Lodz Ghetto from its inception on April 1\, 1940 until its liqui
 dation on August 28\, 1944. When the ghetto was liquidated\, his family wa
 s transported to Auchwitz-Birkenau. Aron survived five Nazi work camps. He
  was tortured\, hungry\, and forced to work from dawn to dusk in the harsh
  winter of Europe just to stay alive. He was finally liberated outside of 
 Mauthausen on May 5\, 1945\, the date he considers to be his birthday – 
 a very special day to celebrate his life.\n\nThe number of survivors of th
 e Holocaust who are alive to recount their first-hand experiences is dwind
 ling. Hear Aron tell about his ordeal and help ensure that we never forget
  the six million Jews that perished in the Holocaust.\n\nThis presentation
