This month: Growing Up Jewish in South Africa with Cantor Mandi Beckenstein.
Miranda Kark Beckenstein was brought up in a very close-knit Jewish family in Cape Town and she has been involved with Reform Judaism since her teens. Cantor mandi was born and educated in Cape Town, South Africa, followed by the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the UK, and at the Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music of HUC-JIR in the USA.
