Decorating and Dining in the Sukkah—for individuals, families or “pods”

Members who want to decorate the sukkah and also dine al fresco individually or in a pod—a group of people who are not socially distancing from each other—can sign up for a time. If you choose to have a meal, think of it like a picnic: you must bring your own seating (and table, if you want), as well as food and other supplies. Access to the church bathroom or other facilities is not guaranteed. For that reason, be prepared to take home your trash. Keep in mind that there may be no exterior lighting, so consider eating your dinner early, or bringing your own lighting. Participants should be considerate of the families living on the premises, and finish any gatherings by 8 pm.
