Batsheva Part II – After our Havdallah program focusing on the social and political implications of both folk and modern Israeli dance, we will continue the conversation by exploring some of the contemporary political controversies surrounding the Batsheva Dance company, and it’s founder Ohad Naharin. We’ll view video clips of the company’s dances and discuss our own interpretations of their work as well. (Both those who were able to attend the previous Havdallah program on this subject and those who were not are welcome and encouraged to attend!)
