February 24, 2021, 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Let’s transform the wild beasts of our imagination (anxiety, scarcity, distrust) into things that might serve self or other: Equanimity, Resilience, Compassion, Patience, and Gratitude. Each week will be dedicated to a different middah (soul-trait) with suggested practices to try out in your daily life. In this unprecedented and challenging time, let the spiritual practice of Mussar help ground and nourish you.
5 Wednesdays, February 24 – March 24, 1:30-2:30 PM (FREE thanks to a county-wide collaboration spearheaded by UJA, the WJC, WJCS, the Westchester Board of Rabbis, JCCs and Dorot to address this period of isolation, especially amongst seniors) For this program, register through UJA at stromt@UJAFEDNY.ORG.
