Lions and Tigers and Bears?
This successful series is being repeated for those who missed it the first time around! And it’s actually Equanimity, Resilience, Compassion, Patience, Gratitude, and Faith, all of which, when cultivated, will transform those wild beasts of our imaginations into something that will serve self and other. In this unprecedented time of fear and physical distancing, we need not be alone. Join Rabbi Pamela Wax for 6 morning sessions on Zoom, each one devoted to a soul-trait (middah) to help nourish and comfort us through this challenging time.
Each session will begin and end with a chant and include a selection of other Jewish contemplative spiritual practices such as meditation, mindfulness, text study, prayer, contemplative listening, and journaling. (Join us with a notebook and pen for 6 Wednesdays from 8-9 am, April 29, May 6, May 13, May 20, May 27, June 3 ($10-15 suggested donation per session). Please contact Rabbi Wax by 5 PM on Tuesdays to receive the Zoom information for the following morning (which will remain the same for each session).
