“Jews in Entertainment”:
A virtual presentation by Susan and Art Zuckerman

Sponsored by the Westchester Community for Humanistic Judaism

Saturday, January 9, starting at 7:15 PM

The New York Metropolitan area has always been the mecca of the world of entertainment. Whether it is the theater, movies, opera, ballet, concerts, television or musical venues, Jews have been involved, and in many cases, leaders in these industries. Learn about the Yiddish Theater (Jewish Rialto), the silent movie moguls and stars, the man responsible for starting NBC, “Bubbles”, the kids from Brooklyn and the Bronx who went on to stardom, and many of the greats involved in different fields of the arts and entertainment. Much of this is also supplemented with audio and visual components to add interest and to bring back memories.
