Learn about Miami Beach’s improbable founding, its rampant land speculation, subsequent bust, and development over the 20th century. Meet the first Jewish settlers in Miami Beach, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach. Hear the little-known stories behind many key synagogues, delis, bakeries, community centers. Learn about the Cuban and Latin experience in the area as well as Sephardic culture and synagogues. Led by Paul Kaplan, author and public speaker
